Introvert. I love reading and playing with puzzles. 2020 was challenging - but not because of restrictions. As home became everything I spent time freed up from commutes on job hunting, organizing and evaluating my skills,
It was a time of healing and breathing from all the things that had stacked up. The loss of relatives and pets; incivilities experienced and confidence shaken. My friends actually met weekly on a Zoom call. Before restrictions we met once every three months. My mother had health challenges and I had to dig deep to help. The phrase 'self-care' became meaningful.
As 2021 looms and the endgame is in sight, I hope to remember that home is important, family matters most, community is essential and we are strong.
